Dewey's Kick in the Grass Remedy!!

This is a tonic that I use on my grass in between my regular Scotts feedings. I call it “KICK IN THE GRASS”!

KICK IN THE GRASS RECEIPE:
• I can of Beer (use Regular Beer – not Light)
• 1 cup of Antiseptic mouthwash
• 1 cup of liquid dish soap with lemon
• 1 cup of ammonia
• ½ cup of Epson salts

Mix these ingredients together in a large container, and then poor the mixture into your 20 gallon hose-end sprayer. Apply liberally to the point of run-off; wait 2 weeks, then apply again.

Lawn Tips from Dewey!

Most of the homes in Crystal Creek have St. Augustinegrass/Floratam.

Note: Be sure to check all lawn care products to be sure they are safe to use with floratam grasses. I’ve found that Scotts Bonus S Weed and Feed is Safe for St. Augustinegrass/Floratam.

YOUR GRASS IS READY FOR IT'S LATE SPRING FEEDING.

Apply Scotts®® Southern Turf Builder®® to help thicken your lawn. However, if fire ants are a bigger issue, then we recommend applying Scotts Turf Builder with Fire Ant Killer which will feed your lawn and control fire ants at the same time.
